Prayer
Dynamic Orthodoxy
We seek to worship God correctly—and this is what “orthodoxy” actually means. The Latin axiom, “Lex orandi, lex credendi” (the law of prayer [worship] is the law of belief) assures us that proper worship of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit and our growth in love of Him in full communion with His Church should be the foundation of our lives as Catholics—expressed in our daily participation in the Divine Liturgy of the Church: the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, attentive participation in the Liturgy of the Hours, Eucharistic Adoration, and the development within each of us of “unceasing prayer” as the great Apostle Paul encourages us. Without correct worship of God, our formation as Catholics and Christians will become distorted.
